Internationalization prize 2006

News of Student Parliament at University of Oslo

An unanimous executive commite decided to award Eton Williams the Internationalisation prize for 2006. Eton Williams has just been reelected as leader of ISU Norway, and he has also formerly been leader of ISU Oslo.

Eton has now over several years been working hard to better the conditions for international students in Norway. Among many important things Eton has been working with, we can mention his contribution to have articles in Universitas translated to English. Eton also made a great contribution when securing SFB students right to attend norwegian courses. His engagement to involve ISU in the student democracy at the University of Oslo is also worth mentioning.

Internasjonaliseringsprisen 2006

Et enstemmig arbeidsutvalg innstilte på Eton Williams som årets vinner av Studentparlamentets internasjonaliseringspris. Eton Williams er akkurat gjenvalgt som leder av ISU Norge for andre året, og har også tidligere vært leder av ISU Oslo.

Eton har over flere år vist et brennende engasjement for internasjonale studenter i Norge, og har jobbet hardt for å gjøre det enklere å være internasjonal student. Blant sakene som Eton har jobbet for kan vi blant annet trekke frem oversettingen av Universitas til engelsk, samt fortsatt norskkurs til SFB studenter. Eton har også vært en aktiv pådriver for å trekke ISU inn i studentdemokratiet ved Universitetet i Oslo.
